Senior Partner John Puddicombe has been with Scott Rowe for 30 years, joining the Axminster branch after a career in the Police, followed by a training contract with a leading Exeter firm of Solicitors.
He took over the litigation work, and enjoyed experience of conducting a wide variety of cases in local courts, as well as some in London, including Court of Appeal cases.
John's caseload has been, in recent years, concentrated on private client problems, with his focus being directed towards complex property transfer issues, estate development and agricultural and commercial property transactions. He is equally at home providing Capital Taxes advice and dealing with Wills and estate planning, and attends regular seminars held by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, of which he has been a member since 1996.
His experience of a broad spectrum of legal matters has stood him in good stead dealing with a wide range of client's concerns. Opening the new Chard office in May 2006 brought a new challenge, and one which John has thoroughly enjoyed.
