Residential Conveyancing Legal Advisor

Are you a skilled Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or paralegal ready to take the next step in your legal career? We are a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Axminster and are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our thriving property team.

The Role:
You will take ownership of a varied caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. With the backing of an experienced Partner and a supportive team, you’ll deliver high-quality legal services to a diverse client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on legal issues, costs and procedures
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents
  • Conducting legal research and maintaining accurate case records
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other stakeholders
  • Supporting business development initiatives and representing the firm at events

What We’re Looking For:

  • Individual with 1+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently
  • Excellent communication, client care and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in legal IT systems and case management software
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a keen eye for detail
