Amanda Shaw

Amanda is a Solicitor specialising in Family Law. Joining Scott Rowe in March 2026, Amanda brings over 20 years of Family Law experience, having qualified in 1992.

Amanda's work covers a range of family matters including divorce, financial matters upon divorce and separation, children issues and domestic violence including emergency applications.

Amanda is a member of the Law Society Children Panel and Resolution and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in cohabitation and Domestic abuse.  Whilst having also trained as a collaborative lawyer and believes that a collaborative approach assists in resolving issues for separating couples as amicably as possible.  Amanda acts not only for the parents in Children Act proceedings but also for extended family members.

Outside of work Amanda is a passion conservationist working in particular for our endangered birds of prey.
